Close Call: Aksaray Vehicle Fire Narrowly Avoided
A car caught fire while driving in Aksaray, turning into a ball of flames as its driver narrowly escaped by jumping out at the last moment. The dramatic incident occurred at the Aksaray-Nevşehir Highway intersection, where the vehicle, driven by İ.Ö., suddenly burst into flames in the engine area for unknown reasons.
Witnesses reported seeing the fire illuminate the night, prompting them to call the 112 Emergency Call Center. Police, health, and fire brigade teams quickly arrived at the scene, with the Aksaray Municipality Fire Department extinguishing the flames and police securing the area.
Fortunately, the driver managed to escape unharmed, but the car was completely destroyed in the blaze, now rendered unusable scrap. Medical teams were also on standby in case of any injuries, ensuring that the situation was swiftly and effectively handled.
