Close Call: Driver Avoids Disaster by Rolling Over and Nearly Crashing into Gas Station
A female driver was injured after her car flipped upside down and was dragged for several meters in a dramatic accident captured on a security camera at a gas station. The incident took place around 6:00 PM at the Orhangazi entrance of the Yalova-Bursa highway in the Orhangazi district.
The driver, identified as Çiğdem Doğan, lost control of her vehicle while traveling from Yalova to Bursa. The car veered off the road, overturned, and collided with the gas station, eventually coming to a stop next to the fuel pumps after being dragged for approximately 50 meters.
Medical teams were quickly dispatched to the scene, where they provided first aid to Çiğdem Doğan before transporting her to Orhangazi State Hospital for further treatment. Remarkably, her pet cat, who was also in the vehicle at the time of the accident, was rescued by the medical teams and taken to the hospital along with the injured driver.
The entire sequence of events leading up to the accident was captured on the security camera footage, providing a startling glimpse into the harrowing incident. Fortunately, despite the severity of the crash, both the driver and her beloved pet are receiving the necessary medical attention to recover from their injuries.
