CMB Approves Capital Increase for 3 Companies

The Capital Markets Board (CMB) has made several decisions regarding capital increases and debt instrument issuances for various companies in Turkey. According to the latest bulletin released by the CMB, several companies have applied for capital increases and debt instrument issuances, which have been approved by the Board.

Ayes Çelik Hasır ve Fence Sanayi AŞ has applied for a capital increase of 119 million 943 thousand 600 liras, while Gersan Elektrik Ticaret ve Sanayi AŞ has applied for a capital increase of 160 million liras. Özerden Ambalaj Sanayi AŞ has also applied for a capital increase of 52 million 500 thousand liras, all of which have been welcomed by the Board.

Additionally, the CMB has approved debt instrument issuance applications for several companies. Global Yatırım Holding AŞ has been approved for 2 billion lira, Dünya Varlık Yönetim AŞ for 4 billion 900 million lira, Marka Mağazacılık AŞ for 1 billion 900 million lira, and several other companies for various amounts.

In addition to these financial decisions, the CMB has taken action against companies engaged in unauthorized capital market activities. Güney Independent Auditing and Certified Public Accountants Inc. has been fined and three individuals are facing criminal complaints for participating in unauthorized capital market activities.

Furthermore, the CMB has decided to block access to 63 websites that allow leveraged transactions abroad via the internet for individuals residing in Turkey.

Overall, the CMB continues to regulate and monitor the capital markets in Turkey to ensure compliance with regulations and protect investors.
