Turkish Citizens Can Apply for Military Service Starting May 9, 2023
The Turkish government has announced that applications for military service will be open from May 9 to May 16, 2023. However, applications made by mail or in person will not be considered, and all applications should be completed online.
To be eligible for this service, applicants must be male Turkish citizens, high school graduates or equivalent, and should not have completed the age of 27 as of January 1, 2023. They should have also either performed or currently performing military service as an obligated non-commissioned officer or contracted non-commissioned officer. For those who have completed military service, not more than five years should have passed since May 9, 2018.
