Collapsed Road Hinders Garbage Truck Movement
A Garbage Truck Stuck in Ankara Due to Road Collapse
A garbage truck belonging to Yenimahalle Municipality found itself in a precarious situation while collecting garbage on 361st Street in Demetevler District. As the truck was making its rounds, the road suddenly collapsed due to the heavy rain, leaving the right side of the truck stuck in the air.
In order to free the truck from its precarious position, a crane belonging to the Metropolitan Municipality was brought in to assist in the removal process. The collapse of the road is a clear indication of the need for proper maintenance and infrastructure work in the area.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported during the incident, and the truck was successfully removed from the scene. This serves as a reminder of the importance of ensuring the safety and stability of roadways, especially for vehicles that are essential for public services such as waste collection.
