Commemoration of Former Lefke Serdar Saint Fedai
Lefke Pays Tribute to Late Serdar Aziz Fedai
The community of Lefke, Cyprus has honored the memory of the late Serdar Aziz Fedai on the 11th anniversary of his passing. The event was attended by members of the Lefke Foundation Founders Committee, Lefke Turkish Sports Club, Foundations Administration Board of Directors, and the European University of Lefke Board of Trustees.
The commemoration ceremony took place at Serdar Aziz Fedai’s grave in Lefke Cemetery. The daughter of the late Fedai, Lütfiye Fedai, expressed her gratitude to all her father’s friends who have been with the family since his death and shared memories of the impact and significance of her father’s life.
Vehit Nekibzade, Chairman of the Lefke Foundation Board of Trustees, also highlighted the holistic contributions of Serdar Aziz Fedai to Lefke and shared memories of the impact of Fedai’s educational work on the community. Additionally, Ahmet Ced, the TMT Mujahideen Association Gemikonağı Branch President, read Fedai’s heartfelt biography.
Reşat Yolaç, one of the Lefke Gazi High School teachers, also spoke on the profound contributions of the late Serdar Aziz Fedai to the Lefke community, recalling his unwavering dedication and services to his country and the places he lived.
Serdar Aziz Fedai remains a well-respected and beloved figure in the Lefke community, and his contributions and legacy continue to be celebrated.
