Commemoration of İsmail Sadıkoğlu on the 29th Anniversary of His Death
Ismail Sadikoglu, a key figure in the Volkan Organization and the Turkish Resistance Organization, was honored on the 29th anniversary of his passing at the Nicosia Cemetery. The ceremony held at his gravesite was attended by various dignitaries who paid tribute to Sadikoglu’s dedication to his country and humanity.
In his speech, Ismail Sadikoglu’s son, Okyay Sadikoglu, emphasized his father’s unwavering commitment to serving the homeland and humanity, attributing his actions to his faith in Allah. He stressed the importance of protecting the country and continuing the legacy of past struggles.
Celal Bayar, Chairman of the TMT Mujahideen Association, praised Sadikoglu as a role model for his steadfastness in the face of challenges. National Unity Party Deputy Zorlu Töre also shared fond memories of Sadikoglu, highlighting his contributions to the Nationalist Thought Association and expressing gratitude for his efforts.
Deputy Prime Minister and Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment Minister Fikri Ataoglu commended the enduring impact of Sadikoglu’s contributions to the country. He acknowledged Sadikoglu’s multidimensional support for the nation and emphasized the importance of honoring his memory.
