"The structures we inaugurate will stand as symbols of the TRNC’s struggle for rights and justice," Yilmaz stated. He conveyed excitement about bringing Teknofest to the Turkish Cypriots, aiming to engage young people and unify them through technology and innovation. "Teknofest is especially crucial for our future, and I invite all young individuals from the Republic to participate," he added.
During the meeting, Yilmaz and Üsel evaluated ongoing projects and initiatives designed to improve the quality of life for Turkish Cypriots. He underscored the significance of the recently signed 2025 Economic and Financial Cooperation Agreement, which lays the groundwork for new projects and support programs aimed at economic advancement.
Yilmaz reiterated Türkiye’s unwavering backing of President Ersin Tatar’s vision for a politically viable two-state solution, reinforcing their collaborative efforts to foster a prosperous future for the TRNC. As both nations move forward, the partnership stands as a testament to mutual respect and shared aspirations, propelling the TRNC towards a brighter tomorrow.
