
Committee discusses ten draft laws related to law, politics, outdoors, and defense – BRTK

The Republican Assembly Law, Political Affairs, Outdoors, and Defense Committee met today, chaired by UBP Deputy Yasemin Öztürk. During the meeting, the committee discussed ten bills related to various legislative matters.
Among the bills on the agenda were the “Environment (Amendment) Draft Law”, “Road Safety (Amendment) Draft Law”, “Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic (Amendment) Draft Law”, and several others aimed at improving road and traffic regulations.
The Committee successfully reviewed the “Draft Law on the Environment (Law)” during its second meeting and scheduled further discussion on other bills for the next meeting. The committee’s work on road safety measures and motor vehicle regulations will continue in the upcoming sessions.
UBP Deputy Yasemin Öztürk led the meeting, with the participation of committee members from various political parties. Additionally, representatives from government departments, law enforcement agencies, industry chambers, environmental organizations, and academic institutions provided insights and feedback on the proposed legislation.
