
Committee on Children’s Digital Rights to Meet This Friday – BRTK

Upcoming Meeting on Children’s Rights in the Digital Realm
On Friday, May 9, at 14:00, the temporary and private (AD-HOC) committee focused on children’s rights in the digital world will convene. This pivotal meeting will be chaired by UBP Deputy Hasan Küçük, with Şifa Çolakoğlu serving as Deputy Chairman. Other committee members include UBP representatives Eroğlu Canaltay and Alişan Şan, alongside CTP Deputy Salahi Şahiner.
The agenda will cover critical topics pertaining to the protection of children’s rights in an increasingly digital landscape. Several esteemed institutions and individuals have been invited to participate in the discussions, namely:
- Police General Directorate
- Information and Communication Technologies Institution (BTHK)
- Representatives from Eastern Mediterranean University Faculty of Education and Girne American University Faculty of Education
- Faculty members from various educational institutions
- Representatives from TRNC TELSİM and TRNC Turkcell
- Assistant Associate Professor Erinç Erçağ
