Committee reviewing amendment to Foreigners’ Property Acquisition and Long-Term Rental Bill

The Law, Political Affairs and Foreign Relations Committee of the Assembly of the Republic recently discussed the “Immovable Property Acquisition and Long-Term Rental (Foreigners) (Amendment) Bill”. The committee, chaired by UBP Deputy Committee Chairman Yasemi Öztürk, held a meeting where they discussed the general aspects of the bill. The work on the Draft Law will continue at their next meeting.

During the meeting, Minister of Internal Affairs Dursun Oğuz was also present, along with officials from various government departments such as the Prime Ministry, Ministry of Economy and Energy, and the Land Registry and Cadastre Department.
