Gönyeli-Alayköy Municipality Completes Construction of 2.5-Kilometer Barrier for Pedestrian Safety
The Gönyeli-Alayköy Municipality in Nicosia-Gazeyurt has taken a proactive approach to pedestrian safety by completing the construction of a 2.5-kilometer barrier along the main way near Irmar Market. The barrier is aimed at preventing the uncontrollable passage of pedestrians and ensuring their safety in the region.
The project was carried out with the dedicated efforts of municipal employees who worked tirelessly day and night to complete the barrier. Gönyeli-Alayköy Mayor Hüseyin Amcaoğlu expressed his gratitude towards the municipal staff for their hard work, stating, “The 2.5-kilometer barrier production, which we initiated to prevent pedestrians from crossing in an unsafe manner, was successfully completed thanks to the selfless efforts of our municipal workers.
