
Completion of New Güzelyurt State Hospital Project Begins, Opening Set for November 15

Completion project of Yeni Güzelyurt State Hospital launched with a ceremony
The Ministry of Health in North Cyprus officially kicked off the 4th Stage Completion Project of Yeni Güzelyurt State Hospital with a ceremony today. This project, which had its foundations laid in 2017, aims to be completed within one year.
During the ceremony, attended by Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, President Ersin Tatar, Parliament Speaker Ziya Öztürkler, and other officials, the Aşan Group company, responsible for the construction of the hospital, promised that the hospital would be open by November 15. Prime Minister Üstel expressed his confidence in the project and wished them success.
Various speakers at the event highlighted the importance of bringing the hospital to the Güzelyurt region, emphasizing the significance of healthcare accessibility for the citizens. Additionally, Minister of Health Hakan Dinçyürek shared updates on other ongoing health projects in the region, including the delivery of the New Kyrenia Hospital in April and completion dates for various health centers.
Prime Minister Üstel reassured the public that the hospital would be completed earlier than the promised date and reiterated the government’s commitment to fulfilling all necessary projects in the region. He also expressed gratitude to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Deputy Cevdet Yılmaz for their support.
Parliament Speaker Ziya Öztürkler praised the efforts to bring the hospital to Güzelyurt, highlighting it as a source of pride for the region. President Ersin Tatar emphasized the support from the homeland and expressed hope for the future.
The event concluded with a family photo, marking a significant milestone for the healthcare infrastructure in North Cyprus.
