Child Murders Father After Argument in Izmir

According to reports, B.İ. dialed the 112 Emergency Call Center to inform them that he had stabbed his father, Cihan İnan, and feared that he may have died. Upon investigation, it was confirmed that İnan had suffered three stab wounds to his back, resulting in his death. After the attack, B.İ. fled the scene but was later apprehended on a nearby street and taken into custody.
Authorities have stated that the victim’s body was transferred to the morgue of the Izmir Forensic Medicine Institute after an examination by the prosecutor. Meanwhile, during the initial questioning at the police station, B.İ. alleged that he and his father had been involved in an argument, leading to the fatal incident. According to him, a previous argument with his parents had caused him to cease communication with his father for about a month leading up to the altercation.
