UEFA Announces Prize Money for EURO 2024
The UEFA Executive Committee has announced the prize money to be distributed to the teams participating in EURO 2024, which is scheduled to take place between 14 June and 14 July. The total amount of prize money to be distributed has been approved as 331 million euros, the same level as EURO 2020.
The prize money distribution system for the teams participating in the tournament includes a participation fee of 9.25 million euros, a match bonus of 1 million euros for a win and 500 thousand euros for a draw, as well as additional amounts for qualification for the round of 16, quarter-finals, and semi-finals. The second-place winner will receive an additional payment of 5 million euros, while an additional 8 million euros will be awarded to the EURO 2024 champion. If the champion team wins all 3 matches in the group, the maximum prize money it can receive will be 28.25 million euros.
In addition to this, the 2024-2025 UEFA Nations League draw, where Turkey will also compete in the B League, will be held at a ceremony in Paris on February 8, 2024.
