Creating Affordable Housing Options for Low-Income Citizens

Environment, Urbanism, and Climate Change Minister Murat Kurum has announced a new social housing campaign aimed at the middle to lower income groups. In a post on his social media account, the minister shared details of the “Lucinus Investment Campaign” initiated by Emlak Konut and TOKI.
The minister highlighted the importance of providing affordable housing for citizens, especially in earthquake-prone areas like Istanbul. He emphasized the need for reconstruction and revival efforts in these areas, stating that all citizens will be brought to safe housing by the end of the year.
The new housing campaign, set to be launched by TOKI, aims to provide affordable housing opportunities for narrow-income citizens. The Real Estate Housing General Directorate will work in collaboration with the Real Estate Participation Bank to ensure that middle-income citizens have access to secure and affordable housing.
According to TOKI, the campaign will be announced at the end of the year and will continue to be developed to provide new nest opportunities for narrow-income citizens across all cities. The goal is to ensure that all citizens have access to safe, reliable, and affordable housing options.
