Creditwest Bank organizes tree planting event with alpets and dbu saplings – BRTK
Creditwest Bank, Alpet, and World Peace University (DBU) came together to organize a special tree planting event aimed at creating a greener world for future generations. The event brought together employees from Creditwest Bank and Alpet, as well as faculty members and students from DBU, at the new campus area of World Peace University on the Nicosia-Magus Road.
Sofu Altınbaş, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Creditwest Bank and Chairman of the DBU Board of Trustees, emphasized the importance of nature for the future and called for unity in working towards a greener future. “Let us hand in hand for a green future and afforestation of our world,” Altınbaş stated.
Vakkas Altınbaş, Vice President of Altınbaş Holding, highlighted the significance of planting trees as a valuable legacy for the future. Mazher Zaheer, General Manager of Creditwest Bank, shared that the bank has contributed to planting thousands of trees through similar initiatives. Tevfik Türkoğlu, General Manager of Alpet Cyprus, expressed the company’s commitment to supporting nature-friendly projects.
DBU Acting Rector Assoc. Dr. Behiye Cavusoglu underlined the university’s dedication to contributing to the greening of the country through such initiatives. The collaborative effort of these organizations reflects a shared commitment to environmental sustainability and creating a more eco-friendly world for generations to come.
