Cultural Arts Grand Prize Ceremony held with the participation of President Tatar – BRTK
The Presidential Culture and Arts Great Awards Ceremony took place with the participation of President Ersin Tatar.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated, “This year, we are presenting awards in 8 different categories ranging from literature to librarianship, music to theater, science-culture to cinema and crafts.” Erdoğan commended the artists, intellectuals, masters, and their representatives who have opened up new horizons in the world of culture and art with their work in Turkey and abroad.
During the ceremony at the Beştepe National Congress and Culture Center, Erdoğan expressed his greetings and respect to all artists who have made significant contributions to the culture and art world with their works both in Turkey and internationally.
Erdoğan congratulated the artists, intellectuals, masters, and award winners who have crossed centuries with their works, nourishing the branches of culture and art in the river of civilization, and wished them success in their future endeavors.
The recipients of the Science-Culture Awards, Professor Gönül Tekin and Professor Günay Kut, were acknowledged by Erdoğan for their significant contributions to the field of Turkish studies. He highlighted their achievements and the impact they have had on Turkish culture and literature on an international level.
Additionally, Erdoğan mentioned the recipients of the Literature Award, Music Award, Theater Award, Librarianship Award, Craftsmanship Award, and the Vefa Award to honor their outstanding contributions to their respective fields.
He emphasized the importance of preserving cultural heritage and traditions, supporting local artists, and maintaining Turkey’s national identity. Erdoğan concluded by underscoring the significance of cultural and artistic works in shaping a nation’s identity and preparing for a prosperous future.
