Customs Seize 870 Kilos of Drugs
Customs Protection Directorate teams in Turkey have successfully seized 870 kilograms of drugs worth approximately 365 million pounds in a recent operation at the Edirne Hamzabeyli Customs Gate. The Ministry shared information about the operation on their social media account, emphasizing the ongoing struggle against drug traffickers who endanger public health and target young people.
The Customs Protection Teams are dedicated to preventing drugs from entering the country and are committed to safeguarding the well-being of the community. The seized drugs will now be part of an investigation led by the Edirne Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.
