Emergency Rescue Operation in Batman: 25 Picnic Enthusiasts Saved from Rising Waters
A dramatic rescue operation unfolded in the Batman region as fire brigade teams came to the aid of 25 individuals stranded due to rapidly rising water levels. The incident occurred at the Batman Stream, where a group had set out for a picnic. Unfortunately, the opening of dam covers nearby led to an unexpected surge in water, trapping the picnickers.
Responding swiftly to emergency calls, local authorities dispatched teams from 112 Emergency Health, AFAD, Gendarmerie, and the Batman Municipality Fire Brigade. Divers and specialized rescue personnel worked diligently to locate and secure the stranded individuals.
Thanks to the coordinated efforts of these teams, all 25 people were successfully rescued from three different locations. Utilizing construction machinery, rescuers were able to transport the group to safety, ensuring a happy ending to what could have been a tragic day.
