Date set for swearing in of 28th term deputies
The final results of the parliamentary elections in Turkey have been officially announced by the Supreme Election Board, and the Grand National Assembly of Turkey will convene at 14.00 on Friday, June 2 for the swearing-in ceremony of the 28th term deputies. The chambers of the new deputies have also been determined through a lottery process, where the General Secretary of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Mehmet Ali Kumbuzoğlu, representatives of political parties, and the representatives of the Parliamentary Services Presidency participated.
It has been reported that a separate room will be arranged for the general presidents, and rooms close to the General Assembly have been allocated to deputies with disabilities and health problems to facilitate their participation in parliamentary work. However, there was no drawing of lots to determine the chambers of the political party leaders. After the chambers of the chairmen of the commission and the members of the Parliamentary Presidency Council of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey are determined, a new drawing of lots will be made for the deputies who did not leave the chamber.
