Deadly Landslide in China: 9 Killed, 17 Missing
Heavy rains in China’s Guangdong and Fujian provinces have caused landslides, resulting in tragic consequences. Nine people have lost their lives, and 17 people are still missing as a result of these landslides.
In Guangdong, five individuals have tragically lost their lives, with 15 others still unaccounted for. The heavy rains caused streets to turn into rivers, dragging vehicles along in floodwaters. Additionally, two bridges collapsed in Meizhou city and Dongshi town due to heavy rain and floods.
Similarly, in Fujian, four people have lost their lives, and two individuals are missing. The heavy rains have also led to the collapse of 378 houses in Wuping County. The devastating impact of the landslides and floods in both provinces highlight the urgent need for disaster relief efforts.
