Fatal Shooting Occurs During Electric Dispute at Wedding in Turkey
A tragic incident unfolded in the Şakirpaşa District of Seyhan, Turkey. İsmet Gülşen, a 33-year-old resident, reportedly became agitated by the noise from a wedding taking place on the street near his house. Seeking a solution, Gülşen confronted Sercan K., the owner of a nearby grocery store who had permitted the wedding guests to use the store’s electricity.
Upon requesting that Sercan K. disconnect the electricity, Gülşen was met with refusal, leading to a heated argument between the two individuals. This altercation escalated quickly when Sercan K. pulled out a gun concealed within the grocery store and shot İsmet Gülşen in the chest. Following the shooting, the suspect immediately fled the scene.
Emergency services rushed Gülşen to a private hospital, where medical professionals attempted to save his life but were unsuccessful. Unfortunately, Gülşen succumbed to his injuries. His body was subsequently transported to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy.
