Death Toll in Gaza Rises to 48,329 Palestinians in Israel’s Attacks
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza has provided an update on the casualties following the recent attacks by the Israeli army in the region. Despite a ceasefire and captive exchange agreement between Israel and Hamas, the violence has continued to claim lives.
Within the last 48 hours, 10 people have been rescued from the rubble while 4 others have been reported wounded. The total number of Palestinian casualties from the attacks in the Gaza Strip between October 7, 2023, and January 19, 2024, has now reached 48,329 killed and 111,753 wounded.
Munir El-Burş, the General Manager of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, stated in a recent press release on February 11th that 92 Palestinians have lost their lives since the ceasefire agreement was reached. Despite efforts to maintain peace, Israel has been accused of repeatedly violating the ceasefire in Gaza.
The situation in Gaza remains volatile, with innocent civilians continuing to suffer as a result of the ongoing conflict. The international community is urged to take action and support efforts to bring about a lasting peace in the region.
