Death Toll in Gaza Rises to 48,346 in Israel’s Attacks
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza has provided updates on the casualties following attacks by the Israeli army despite the ceasefire and captive exchange agreement that was reached between Israel and Hamas on January 19th.
According to the latest information shared by the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours, the bodies of 5 individuals were recovered from the debris, while 2 Palestinians were killed by Israeli soldiers. This brings the total number of Palestinians who have lost their lives in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, to 48,346, with 111,759 others wounded.
Despite the ceasefire agreement, Israel continues to violate the ceasefire in Gaza. Munir El-Burş, the General Manager of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, reported on February 11 that 92 Palestinians have died in attacks on the Gaza Strip since the ceasefire was implemented.
The situation in Gaza remains volatile, with innocent civilians caught in the crossfire of the ongoing conflict. The international community continues to call for an end to the violence and for both parties to prioritize the protection and well-being of all individuals in the region.
