
Delegation from GAU Rectorate Visits Champion Angels Graveyard

A delegation from the Girne American University (GAU) Rectorate recently paid a visit to the graveyard of the Champion Angels, as reported in a statement by GAU Rector Prof. Dr. Serdar Yurtsever. The visit was made in remembrance of the Martyr Meleks, and to show support to their families during this challenging time.
In his statement, Yurtsever expressed the university’s commitment to always being in the spiritual peace of the Champion Angels. He emphasized the importance of preserving the memories and legacy left behind by these individuals, and extended condolences to their families.
The GAU Founding Rector, Deputy Serhat Akpınar, also attended the last hearings of the Rebellion Case in Adıyaman, demonstrating the university’s continued support for the families of the fallen heroes. Yurtsever highlighted the unity and shared pain experienced by the people of Northern Cyprus and Turkey, as well as the GAU Family.
Furthermore, Yurtsever mentioned that the university is actively pursuing justice and providing ongoing support to the families of the Champion Angels. The visit to the gravesite served as a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by these individuals and the need to honor their memory.
