Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yıldız Engages in Official Diplomatic Meetings
Ahmet Yıldız, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, recently met with Abdallah Al Dardari, United Nations Deputy Secretary-General and Director of the UN Development Program Regional Bureau for Arab States. During their working lunch, they discussed regional issues on the agenda of UNDP and Turkey. Yıldız also mentioned that they discussed projects for conservation and international promotion.
In addition, Yıldız also hosted the delegation of the Turkey Friendship Committee, established under the Supreme State Council of Libya, during their first visit to Turkey. They discussed bilateral relations and the potential for strengthening diplomatic ties between the two countries. Yıldız expressed optimism that the contacts to be held between the Turkish Grand National Assembly Turkey-Libya Friendship Group and the Libya Committee will contribute to the development and strengthening of brotherly relations with Libya.
The meetings and discussions highlighted the commitment of Turkey to engaging in regional issues and strengthening diplomatic ties with other countries. Yıldız’s efforts reflect Turkey’s dedication to creating meaningful partnerships and fostering international cooperation.
