
Derviş Yücetürk appointed as chairman of Cyprus Turkish Association for the Visually Impaired

Derviş Yücetürk Re-elected as Chairman of Cyprus Turkish Association of Visionaries
The Cyprus Turkish Association of Visionaries has announced the re-election of Derviş Yücetürk as its chairman. The association held its 18th Ordinary General Assembly meeting at the Mehmet Ali Tatlıyay Education and Culture Hall, where several appointments were made.
Nuri Erbaş was appointed as the chairman of the council, while Erkan Beyazbayram and Özen Koşucu were appointed as the secretaries. Following the approval of the activity and financial reports, the association’s board of directors was elected.
Derviş Yücetürk was unanimously re-elected as the president of the association, with A. Raşit Kenan being appointed as the vice president and Erkan Beyazbayram as the secretary. Fikri Gürpınar assumed the role of the financial affairs officer, Nuri Erbaş took on the public relations responsibility, Kemal Kahvecioğlu became responsible for social affairs, and İbrahim Koşucu was appointed as the media responsibility. The alternate members of the Board of Directors are Seyhan Genç and Ali Güneş.
The Supervisory Board includes Mehmet Vargın as the chairman, Canan Göktaş and Özlem Yılmaz as members, and Sultan Köfünyeli as the substitute member. Zehra Yücetürk heads the Disciplinary Committee, with Özen Runner and Leyla Kaya serving as members, and Aygül Barbın as the substitute member. The Sports and Social Affairs Committee is chaired by Meltem Vargın, with Erkay Yıldız, Serdar Naimoğlu, Mehmetali Basri, and Arda Bozat as active members.
The Cyprus Turkish Association of Visionaries continues to work towards its mission with Derviş Yücetürk leading the way as the re-elected chairman.
