EMU Pharmacy Dean Makes Visits in Ankara
Dr. H. Ozan Gülcan, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), recently paid visits to institutions in Ankara.
According to a statement released by EMU, Gülcan conducted courtesy visits to Hacettepe University Faculty of Pharmacy, Şehremini Central Pharmacy Museum, and Lokman Hekim University Faculty of Pharmacy.
During his visit to Hacettepe University, Gülcan met with Prof. Dr. Mutlu Dilesiz Aytemir to discuss potential collaborations following an agreement between the two universities. The meeting also included discussions on joint projects involving experts from various fields.
Following his visit to the Şehremini Central Pharmacy Museum, Gülcan also met with Dr. Ilkay Erdogan, who served as the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Dokuz Eylul University from 2011 to 2014 and currently holds the same position at Lokman Hekim University.
The discussions during these meetings included sharing the history of EMU Faculty of Pharmacy, comparing current programs and student admission processes between the institutions, and evaluating future prospects for both faculties.
Gülcan’s visits aimed to strengthen ties between EMU’s Faculty of Pharmacy and other prestigious institutions in Ankara, fostering collaboration and exchange of knowledge in the field of pharmacy.
