Kazakh Popstar Dimash Kudaibergen Impresses Fans in New Episode of “Beauty and Harmony” Project
Astana – Dimash Kudaibergen, a popular Kazakh popstar, wowed audiences in a recent episode of the “Beauty and Harmony” project, which aired on China Central Television-1 (CCTV-1) on June 8. The project, which aims to promote large-scale international cultural exchange between China and other countries, featured Kudaibergen’s captivating performance.
“Music crosses borders and culture builds bridges. When the music starts, I hope you can find strength and courage in my singing,” Kudaibergen expressed, inviting his fans to tune in to the program.
During the show, the talented singer showcased his vocal prowess with a powerful rendition of the song “Golden,” a staple opening for his solo concerts. In a remarkable display of international collaboration, he also performed the renowned song “You Raise Me Up,” accompanied by POLY WeDo, the choir of the Suzhou Youth Symphony Orchestra from China.
This is not the first time Kudaibergen has participated in the “Beauty and Harmony” project. In the premiere episode last year, he joined forces with famous pianist Lang Lang to deliver a stunning performance of composer Xian Xinghai’s piano concert “The Song of the Yellow River Boatman” and the Kazakh folk song “Dudarai” in both its original traditional style and a jazz-funk interpretation.
