Minister of Health Dr. Hakan Dinçyürek Meets with Turkish Cypriot Pediatrics Association
Recently, Minister of Health Dr. Hakan Dinçyürek met with the President and members of the Turkish Cypriot Pediatrics Association to discuss the improvement of health services for child patients. The meeting, held at the ministry, addressed the need to enhance both public and private sector health services for children.
During the discussion, Dr. Dinçyürek emphasized the importance of protecting the health of children and ensuring that both preventative and therapeutic services are at the highest level. He also highlighted the priority of promoting the healthy development of children, stating that healthy individuals contribute to a healthy society. Additionally, he mentioned ongoing efforts to standardize child vaccines across the country according to a set calendar.
Following the meeting, Minister Dinçyürek announced plans to increase cooperation between the Turkish Cypriot Pediatrics Institution and the Ministry of Health. The discussions also focused on the improvement of communication and dialogue between patients, their families, and physicians, with the association conveying their requests to the Ministry of Health.
