Dinçyürek: Utilizing Technological Advancements in Healthcare – BRTK
The symposium titled “Innovative Approaches in Orthotics” was recently held in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, Turkish Cypriot Orthopedic Disabled Association, Turkish Cypriot Medical Association, and Turkish Cypriot Physiotherapists Association. The event took place at the meeting hall of the Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital Thalassemia Center.
Minister of Health, Dr. Hakan Dinçyürek, emphasized the significance of incorporating technological advancements in the field of health during the symposium, which also included experts from Turkey as speakers. He highlighted the importance of orthosis and prosthesis technology in enhancing daily life and making it more ergonomic through seamless integration with non-organic structures. Minister Dinçyürek expressed confidence in the advancements being made in the healthcare field in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the benefits that new technologies will provide to healthcare professionals and patients.
Reflecting on the progress made in healthcare technology over the years, Minister Dinçyürek acknowledged the opportunities available today and stressed the importance of leveraging these opportunities along with current innovations. He expressed gratitude to everyone involved in advancing healthcare technologies.
Günay Kibrit, President of the Turkish Cypriot Orthopedically Disabled People’s Association, praised the symposium for raising awareness and providing valuable information. He extended his thanks to Minister of Health, Dr. Hakan Dinçyürek, for the support provided.
