Italian tour operator includes eco-friendly routes in Kazakhstan’s Mangystau Region in travel catalog
An Italian tour operator has recently added eco-friendly routes in Kazakhstan’s Mangystau Region to its travel catalog, as reported by Kazakh Tourism National Company on Feb. 4. These routes are now available alongside trips to Almaty and the Turkistan Region, offering travelers a unique and sustainable way to explore the country.
This initiative is part of a memorandum of cooperation signed between Kazakh Tourism and the Italian-Kazakh Trade Association, aimed at promoting new routes and expanding tourism ties between Kazakhstan and Italy. The partnership has already shown promising results, with Italian airline Neos Air planning to increase flights between the two countries to three per week starting in March. The airline will be using Boeing 737 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft for these flights.
Kazakhstan has been gaining popularity as a travel destination among Italian travelers in recent years. According to the Border Service of the National Security Committee, the number of Italian travelers to Kazakhstan grew by 32% to 13,000 in 2024. This increase is a testament to the growing interest in Kazakhstan’s diverse landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and warm hospitality.
With the addition of eco-friendly routes in the Mangystau Region, travelers now have even more options to explore the beauty of Kazakhstan in a sustainable manner.
