Discussion on Turkmen-Moldovan Cooperation Issues.

Turkmenistan and Moldova have discussed issues of cooperation during a recent meeting held in Ashgabat. The Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan, V. Hajyiev, met with the newly appointed Ambassador of Moldova to Turkmenistan, Valeriu Chiveri, to present him with copies of credentials and express the country’s support in his new role.

The two sides agreed to hold another round of political consultations to further build on their partnership and cooperation. Turkmenistan and Moldova have already had positive experiences working together in international organizations, with Moldova expressing their support for initiatives put forward by Turkmenistan on the international stage.

To further strengthen their relationship, the Turkmen side proposed intensifying inter-parliamentary dialogue and holding a regular meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation. They also identified opportunities for collaboration in scientific, cultural, and humanitarian fields.

The meeting demonstrated the mutual willingness of Turkmenistan and Moldova to expand bilateral cooperation and deepen their strategic partnership. Both sides expressed their commitment to working together to address regional and global challenges.
