Walt Disney Pictures to Dub Three Animated Films in Kazakh Language
ASTANA—Exciting news for Kazakh-speaking audiences as three popular animated films produced by Walt Disney Pictures are set to be dubbed in the Kazakh language this year. The films include “Inside Out 2,” “Moana 2,” and “Mufasa: The Lion King.”
“Inside Out 2,” a sequel to the original animated film produced by Pixar Animation Studios, was released in cinemas worldwide on June 12. The Kazakh version premiered on June 13, thanks to Disney and Pixar financing the dubbing process.
Well-known theater and film actors, pop stars, and popular bloggers lent their voices to the characters of these animated films in the Kazakh language. Audiences in Kazakhstan can look forward to enjoying “Moana 2” and “Mufasa: The Lion King” in Kazakh later this fall.
Dubbing Director Shah-Murat Ordabayev shared that the recording process went smoothly, with the main challenge being to attract recognizable voices. He mentioned, “We did this so that the audience would be more active, so that they would come to listen to their favorite voices. We managed to do this in the Kazakh version.”
Kazakh viewers can now immerse themselves in the captivating worlds of these beloved animated films, with the added joy of hearing their favorite characters speak in their native language.
