Double Weather Warnings Issued by Meteorology Department
The weather forecast for various parts of Turkey predicts a mix of conditions for the upcoming days. It is expected that the inner and eastern parts of the country will be partly cloudy, with some areas experiencing very cloudy skies. The Eastern Mediterranean Taurus Mountains Region, the Central Black Sea coast, the Eastern Black Sea, the north of Eastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Osmaniye, Sinop, Sivas, and Van may see locally showery and thundery weather. Meanwhile, the coastal areas of Hatay will also experience showers and thunderstorms. Other regions of the country are expected to have slightly cloudy and clear skies.
In terms of temperature, no significant changes are expected, with temperatures remaining above seasonal norms throughout the country. The wind is predicted to mainly blow from the north, while southern and western regions, particularly the Mediterranean coast and Southeastern Anatolia, could experience light to occasionally strong winds.
The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a yellow alert for 10 cities, including Afyonkarahisar, Antalya, Burdur, Cankiri, Corum, Denizli, Isparta, Kastamonu, Konya, and Karabuk. Additionally, a hot weather warning has been issued for several regions, with temperatures expected to reach between 33-36 degrees.

– Ankara: Partly cloudy with a high of 33 degrees
– Istanbul: Partly cloudy with a high of 34 degrees
– Izmir: Partly cloudy and clear with a high of 37 degrees
– Bursa: Partly cloudy and slightly cloudy with a high of 34 degrees
– Adana: Partly and slightly cloudy with intermittent showers and thunderstorms in the north, reaching 36 degrees
– Antalya: Partly cloudy with a high of 39 degrees
– Samsun: Partly and very cloudy with showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, reaching 31 degrees
– Trabzon: Partly and very cloudy with intermittent showers and thunderstorms, reaching 29 degrees
– Erzurum: Partly cloudy with intermittent showers and thunderstorms, reaching 26 degrees
– Diyarbakir: Partly cloudy and clear with a high of 40 degrees.
