Driver candidate involved in fatal accident in Esenyurt: 1 dead, 2 injured
A fatal accident occurred in Selahattin Eyyubi District involving a driving school vehicle, a minibus, and several individuals. According to reports, the driving school vehicle, with two trainees and instructor Çetin Y. on board, collided with a minibus attempting to enter the road from a side street.
The impact caused the driving school vehicle to veer out of control and crash into road barriers, trapping the three occupants inside. Emergency services were quickly dispatched to the scene and managed to rescue all three individuals from the wreck.
Tragically, driver Çetin Y. lost his life in the accident, while the two trainees sustained injuries and were rushed to the hospital for treatment. The minibus driver involved in the collision was taken into custody.
Local resident Sedat Çelik expressed concerns about the safety of the newly built road where the accident occurred, citing a lack of proper warning systems leading to frequent accidents in the area.
The entire incident was captured on a security camera, providing crucial evidence for the ongoing investigation. Authorities are now working to determine the exact cause of the accident and prevent similar tragedies from happening in the future.
