Driver Evades Police Warning and Causes Multiple Accidents in Düzce
A driver in Düzce has caused chaos in the city center after failing to comply with a ‘stop’ warning from the police. The incident took place when the driver of a reported dangerous vehicle attempted to escape from the authorities.
As the police tried to apprehend the driver, he recklessly collided with three parked cars, injuring one police officer and a motorcycle rider in the process. Following the crash, the driver and three individuals who were accompanying him quickly abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene.
The injured police officer, Murat Çakır, and the motorcycle rider, Kerem Yıldız, were rushed to the hospital for medical treatment. Unfortunately, Yıldız’s injuries are described as life-threatening.
In response to the incident, the police have launched an investigation and are actively working to apprehend the driver and his accomplices. The search is ongoing, and authorities are determined to bring those responsible to justice.
