Driver Falls Asleep, Vehicle Plunges into Abyss in Grand Vizier

In a tragic accident in the Grand Vizier region, a driver fell off a cliff in his vehicle and sustained serious injuries.

The incident occurred on the Kayalar-Grand Vizamköy main road, in the northern part of Asiklar Hill, at around 13:00. The driver, Fatih Daşkın, was in a vehicle with license plate KH 082 when the vehicle plummeted approximately 55 meters down into the sea.

Fatih Daşkın was seriously injured in the accident. He was rescued by police, civilian defense, and medical teams and promptly transported to Kyrenia Dr Akçiçek Hospital by ambulance for treatment.
