Driver Fined 14,000 Lira for Ignoring ‘Stop’ Warning
Police Stop Car with Underage Driver at Checkpoint
Police teams attempted to stop a car at a checkpoint located at the entrance of the city. Despite the warning to stop, the car continued on until it was finally stopped in Yancıkçışahin District after a chase.
Upon inspection, it was revealed that the driver, identified as M.D, was under 18 years of age and did not possess a valid driver’s license. As a result, an administrative fine of 14,483 liras was imposed on the driver in accordance with the relevant regulations. Additionally, the driver’s vehicle was banned from traffic as a consequence.
This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of following traffic laws and regulations, especially for young and inexperienced drivers. It also highlights the diligent work of the police in enforcing these rules to ensure the safety of all road users.
