Provincial Police Department Cracks Down on Noisy Driver Disturbing the Peace
The Provincial Police Department Traffic Inspection Branch Directorate has taken action against a driver whose loud music was disturbing the neighborhood. Following a social media post complaining about the noise, the teams were able to identify the car and its driver.
According to reports, the driver has been fined a total of 43,852 TL for various violations of the Highway Traffic Law No. 2918. These violations include listening to loud music, throwing garbage out of the vehicle, having light equipment that does not comply with legislation, and driving a vehicle despite having a temporarily suspended driver’s license.
Furthermore, legal proceedings have been initiated against the driver for disturbing the peace and tranquility of the public. As a result, he has been referred to the Provincial Health Directorate to obtain a psychotechnical report.
This incident serves as a reminder that drivers must adhere to traffic laws and show consideration for their surroundings. Law enforcement will continue to crack down on individuals who disrupt the peace and safety of the community.
