Drone Attack on Ukraine’s Tikhoretsk Region: Ammunition Depot Explodes in Russia
Russian Governor Sergey Kondratyev reported that Ukrainian forces carried out a drone attack on the town of Tikhoretsk in the Krasnodar region. In a statement on his Telegram channel, Kondratyev revealed that two drones were shot down by Russian air defense systems during the night raid.
The incident resulted in a fire at an ammunition depot due to the falling UAV parts, causing the ammunition to explode. Firefighters were dispatched to the scene to contain the fire, while evacuations of civilians from Tikhoretsk began immediately.
Fortunately, Kondratyev confirmed that all 1,200 residents of Tikhoretsk were successfully evacuated with no reported injuries or casualties. The situation is currently being monitored and investigated further to assess the extent of the damage caused by the attack.
