Easy Travel from Budapest to Taipei with China Airlines’ Rail & Fly Service

Hungarian travellers looking to start their long-haul flights from Vienna Airport now have a convenient option with Taiwan’s China Airlines’ new “rail & fly” service.

In partnership with the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB), China Airlines is offering an interline service that allows Hungarian passengers to book Austrian train tickets from Győr and Budapest that connect with China Airlines flights. This seamless service allows passengers to book both their train and flight tickets simultaneously through the airline’s website.

China Airlines operates non-stop flights between Vienna and Taipei, as well as providing excellent connections from Europe with daily non-stop flights from Frankfurt and four weekly non-stop flights from Amsterdam. Other non-stop routes to Taipei include departures from London, Rome, and Prague.

Taipei serves as a convenient hub for further travel to destinations in Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, the Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, and New Zealand, making it an ideal gateway for Hungarian travellers looking to explore Asia and beyond.

Sárdi Rezső, the GSA of China Airlines, highlights the convenience and affordability of this new service, making it easier for Hungarian travellers to start their long-haul journeys from Vienna Airport.
