Economy Committee Approves Two Bills for Parliament – BRTK
The Economy, Finance, Budget, and Plan Committee of the Republican Assembly has unanimously approved two important laws. The “Free Port and Region (Amendment) Law” and the “Transportation of Passengers and Goods by Motor Vehicles (Audit) (Amendment) Law” were discussed and approved by the committee members during a meeting chaired by UBP Deputy Official Eroğlu Canaltay.
The draft laws have now been referred to the agenda of the General Assembly of the Assembly for further deliberation and approval. The assembly meeting was attended by UBP deputy Hasan Küçük, UBP deputy Alişan Şan, and other committee members.
During the meeting, representatives from the Ministry of Finance were also present to provide insights and information on the proposed laws. The committee members had the opportunity to discuss and debate the implications and benefits of the amendments before reaching a unanimous decision to move the laws forward for consideration by the General Assembly.
The approval of these laws is seen as a significant step in enhancing the regulatory framework for free port and region operations, as well as improving the auditing process for the transportation of passengers and goods by motor vehicles.
