Education Hindered by Snow Barriers in Multiple Cities
Samsun, Kastamonu, Giresun, Zonguldak, Bartın, Sinop, Ordu, Rize, and Trabzon are among the provinces in Turkey that have been affected by heavy snowfall and adverse weather conditions. As a result, education and training have been suspended in these regions for a day to ensure the safety of students and citizens.
The Governor’s Offices in these provinces have issued statements announcing the suspension of educational activities due to the ongoing heavy snowfall, frost, and icing. Governor İhsan Selim Baydaş of Rize emphasized the importance of prioritizing the safety of students and encouraged everyone to stay safe during this challenging weather period.
