Egyptian Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Saudi Arabia on Route from Ethiopia to Cairo
A Boeing 737-800 aircraft with flight number MS852, en route from Addis Ababa Airport in Ethiopia to Cairo International Airport, was forced to make an emergency landing at Jeddah International Airport today. The aircraft was carrying 85 passengers at the time.
The company responsible for the flight issued a statement confirming the emergency landing, citing the need for technical work to be carried out on the aircraft. In order to ensure the safe transportation of the passengers, they were transferred from Jeddah to Cairo via two EgyptAir planes.
