Voter Turnout Rate in Country’s Election Announced at 12.40 Percent
As of 13:00, the voter turnout rate in the country’s election has been reported as 12.40 percent. The Supreme Election Board has provided information regarding the distribution of this turnout rate across different districts.
In Nicosia, the voter turnout is recorded at 11.10 percent, while in Famagusta it stands at 10.32 percent. Girne has a turnout of 11.30 percent, Güzelyurt has 11.59 percent, Pier has 13.81 percent, and Lefke has the highest turnout rate of 16.26 percent.
The voting process began at 08:00 and will continue until 18:00 throughout the country. A total of 210,121 voters will participate in the elections, casting their votes in 713 ballot boxes.
These elections will determine both a deputy and a muhtar. The results will have significant implications for the representation and governance of the country.
