Electoral Districts of Ankara: Exploring Region 1, 2 and 3

Ankara, the capital city of Turkey, is divided into three regions for the upcoming elections. Confused voters who are unsure about which region they belong to are turning to search engines for help. The first region includes Bala, Cankaya, Elmadağ, Gölbaşı, Haymana, Mamak, Polatlı, Şereflikoçhisar, and the University district. The second region is composed of Akyurt, Altındağ, Çamlıdere, Çubuk, Gölhisar, Kalecik, Keçiören, and Pursaklar. Meanwhile, the third region encompasses Ayas, Beypazarı, Etimesgut, Nallıhan, Sincan, and Yenimahalle.
The determination of the election zones is based on the number of deputies to be elected. Provinces with up to 18 deputies are considered as electoral districts, while those with 19 to 35 deputies are divided into two electoral districts. Provinces with 36 or more deputies are divided into three and named in numerical order.
As the election approaches, it is important for voters to know which region and district they belong to in order to cast their ballots correctly.
