Embracing Unity, Peace, Humanism, Friendship, and Brotherhood in the World
The Conference “International Year of Peace and Trust: Cherishing Unity, Peace, Humanism, Friendship and Brotherhood in the World” took place on April 3, 2025, at the Mekan Palace in Turkmenistan. The event brought together members of the Government of Turkmenistan, diplomats, healthcare professionals, educators, and representatives from various organizations and media outlets.
The conference began with a literary and musical performance titled “Çagalaryň saglygy – Watan baýlygy” (Children’s Health is the Fatherland’s Wealth) by artists from the Main Academic Drama Theatre named after Saparmyrat Turkmenbashi.
Speakers at the conference included the Ambassador of the Republic of India to Turkmenistan, Madhumita Hazarika Bhagat, as well as representatives from the Embassies of Türkiye, Libya, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan. They highlighted the importance of the Charity Fund for Providing Assistance to Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and praised the work of the Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Center named after the same.
Discussions centered around international cooperation for the well-being of children, social protection, and their integration into society. Participants commended the progress made by the Fund over the past four years and proposed further collaborative efforts to support children.
The organizers were praised for the successful events held in Arkadag city on March 29 to celebrate the fourth anniversary of the Fund’s establishment.
Overall, the conference served as a platform for exchanging ideas, fostering unity, and reaffirming commitments to peace, humanism, friendship, and brotherhood on a global scale.
