Emergency Room Horror: Patient’s Relative Breaks Doctor’s Nose
A 2-year-old girl injured, doctor attacked in hospital
A shocking incident occurred at a private hospital when a 2-year-old girl was injured by falling from a swing in her home. The girl, identified as MDİ., was rushed to the hospital where she was treated in the emergency room by Dr. Ahmet Kurt. However, things took a turn for the worse when the child’s father, H.İ., attacked Dr. Kurt while he was examining the girl’s tomography, resulting in a physical altercation which caused damage to hospital property.
Despite the chaos, Dr. Kurt managed to assess the girl’s condition and diagnosed her with a brain hemorrhage, leading to the decision to urgently transfer her to a larger hospital for further treatment. As he was preparing the girl for transfer, he was once again attacked, this time by her father, leaving him injured and covered in blood.
Speaking about the incident, Dr. Kurt recounted the events, expressing his shock and dismay at being attacked while trying to help the young patient. The girl’s father, H.İ., and his brother, Ş.İ., were subsequently detained by the police as investigations into the case continue.
This unfortunate incident serves as a stark reminder of the challenges faced by healthcare workers in their line of duty, and the need for greater respect and appreciation for their efforts to save lives.
